Our goal

Apex Motors wants every visitor to be able to read this site, navigate it, and send a message, whatever tools they browse with. Our target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the W3C.

Measures on this website

Text and background colors meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios, every interactive element shows a visible focus outline, and every image carries alt text describing its content.

Each page has one h1 with headings in order below it, the navigation and the contact form work by keyboard alone, and a skip to content link is the first focusable element on every page.

Known limits

The demo version of this site uses placeholder images: SVG stand-ins for photographs of vehicles and the showroom. Their alt text describes what each final photo will show, but the placeholder images themselves carry little visual detail. They will be replaced with photographs, each with specific alt text, before launch.

Accessibility at our lot

The showroom at 5800 South Lamar Boulevard, Austin, TX 78745 has a step-free entry from the lot and 4 accessible parking spaces by the entrance. If you need particular accommodations for a visit or a test drive, call ahead at (512) 555-0188 and we will plan for them.
